Explore Gaza through the eyes of those who live there.
Everyday people. Everyday Lives.
Everyday people. Everyday Lives.
The circumstances in which everyday Gazans are living their lives during a time of crisis and war does not allow for personal conversation with people living outside Gaza.
Meet Me In Gaza is a place to learn about the lives of
ordinary people who live there.
Meet Me In Gaza is an oral history project that uses Conversational Video as a means to collect, engage and and access stories of every day people and the impact of the 2023-4 war on their lives. Meet Me In Gaza is one way to collect and humanize lived experience.
Conversational Video enables questions to be asked that allow us to enter into the lives of others in an authentic way. Meet Me In Gaza is based on ten questions that one might ask anyone in a first conversation, just to get to know each person as they are.
This site is an independent oral history documentation program and has no affiliation to political organizations. It is the work of volunteers with no financial backing from parties associated to the current war in Gaza.
Meet Me In Gaza makes every effort to source interviewees who do not have political or government affiliation, or association to terrorism and who are subject to circumstances outside of their control.
Answers to questions do not represent the views of the Meet Me in Gaza website, its owners, founders and operators.
Meet Me In Gaza makes every effort to collect and provides access to real human stories on the basis of personal lived experience.
